Day 2 Wrap

So the evening ended shortly after that last picture, with lightning tearing across the sky and a loud clap of thunder.

With that, the last remaining revelers packed up in a hurry and scattered.

We did manage to beat the rain back to Brad and Liz's.

Looking forward to Blue Hawaiians and the traditional relaxing Sunday.

Well, Jill's birthday has come and gone, and now we're 40 days closer to Comfest. (How can we possibly be 40 days into the new year? That's just inconceivable...)

We have passed the halfway point to one of the most celebrated days of the year -- the start of ComFest. Sure, there are lots of events that must occur to get us there, but we've made it more than halfway to the joy of Johngaritas, Cigars in the Park, and the unparalleled feeling of community brought about by those 3 days in June.

While I look forward to all of these events... none of them have (or demand) a countdown Wave (for those of you on Google Wave) or their own site for celebrating the weekend.
