Ahhh, Comfest. Is there a better weekend all year in Columbus? We don't think so. Three days of rest, relaxation, friends, music, and drinks. A blanket in the grass. The sun, then stars above. It never really feels like summer till Comfest.
Welcome to "It Must Be Summer"
Started five years ago by toph and John, the group blog returns for its sixth year for Comfest 2013. Time flies. In the spirit of community that is essential to Comfest, here is a place to share your Comfest thoughts, memories, and experiences. We look forward to seeing, reading, or watching (iPhone video is STILL a dangerous and beautiful thing) whatever you'd like to share here.
If you are reading this and you didn't receive an invite to post and would like to contribute, leave a comment and John or toph will get you added.
We'll see you on the grass in the park.

Day Three...
I love Blue Hawaiian day for the Blue Hawaiians, but hate it for being the last day of Comfest...
Day 2 Wrap
With that, the last remaining revelers packed up in a hurry and scattered.
We did manage to beat the rain back to Brad and Liz's.
Looking forward to Blue Hawaiians and the traditional relaxing Sunday.

Sarah, Shannon (both the one in green and the white), Rick, Jon, Mike.
We love them!
The breakfast of champions!
Too bad John and I are still the only ones here to enjoy the start of the day!
Base Camp is set
Oh yes, soon there will be others... Jason is at Ben's couple shower, Jill is at work and will join us after. The rest of you are slackers!!!

134 Days Until Comfest 2010
Only three big events between here and there...
Friday, January 1, 2010
174 Days to ComFest 2010
Some events that occur between now and then:
Jill's Birthday
Cinco de Mayo
Jason's Birthday
My Sister's Wedding
While I look forward to all of these events... none of them have (or demand) a countdown Wave (for those of you on Google Wave) or their own site for celebrating the weekend.
Happy New Year, and see you in the park!
